Ripples the cat got loose from his carrier on an Air Canada flight and fled to the cockpit!
The flight was grounded for several hours today after the crew eventually determined this silly kitty had wiggled his way down into the wiring in the cockpit. Ripples was found and returned safely after maintenance crews had to take apart panels inside of the cockpit to get the little guy out. Then they had to reassemble everything and ensure no damage had been done.
“We now have a ‘lost cat in airplane’ file that’s got one piece of paper in it after this morning,” said Peter Spurway, spokesman for the Halifax International Airport Authority.
Ripples sure had an adventure!
